Eilat is a town in the south of Israel, located in the Gulf of Aqaba. It is washed by the waters of the Red Sea and is located far from the country's major cities. The rich underwater world of the coastal waters here attracts snorkelers and divers. The main attraction is a unique 1-kilometer-long coral reef. There are secluded bays and deep canyons. And the amount of colorful fish is unbelievable. There is a great number of beaches in Eilat. The length of the coastline is 12 kilometres. Migdalor Beach is very popular, a coral reef is very close to the coast there. But you should be careful: there are sea urchins, venomous snakes and fish. It takes months to heal burns from their venom.
The climate in Eilat is hot and dry. Precipitation is rare here. In the summer period, the average air temperature is +35...+39 °С, but it can rise up to +45 °С. The heat is easy to bear due to low humidity and fresh winds. The temperature in winter is comfortable: +22...+26 °С. The temperature of the sea water is the same throughout the year: +20...+25 °С.
